A dream became reality in February 2010. Don and Julie Skinner owners of Snowmass Alpacas in Northern Idaho have contracted with Elegante Vellon Alpacas and our sister ranch Cedar Farms Alpacas to act as Sales Agents for their world class genetics.
Snowmass Alpacas are the pinnacle of what breeders should strive for in there own herds. Snowmass Alpacas are the show competition that if beaten or even matched would be a thing to be celebrated. There reputation as producers of the highest quality super herd of Huacaya genetics rings a bell that is heard around the world.
We mean this literally as Snowmass Alpacas is the first US ranch that has actually exported Alpacas back to Peru. We not only feel honored, but humbled to be part of there business and to develop a friendship with them personally that we hope will last a lifetime.
We will broker hand selected males and females transported from their ranch to ours right here in Cedar City, Utah. As an added bonus we will board an elite lineup of Studs that are hand chosen to out-breed to the lucky few who know quality and plan to take advantage of it.
